Visits with cats - Individual sessions are for one person, each person needs a separate individual booking. Private sessions are a group booking covering up to 6 people for 1 hour. Additional guests are welcome for the privates, but will be charged $18/ person upon entry with a max capacity of 20 people. We do host kid birthday parties as a private booking, however, this is only available for ages 9 and over in order to maintain a peaceful enviroment for our cats.

Our model offers an easy and comfortable way for individuals considering adoption to visit with our cats in order to find the right cat for their lifestyle. Even people who know that they do not want to or cannot adopt a cat can come and enjoy cat therapy in the cat cottage. We can cancel with 95% refund prior to 48 hours before reservation. 50% refund is provided for cancellations between 24 hours and 48 hours and no refund is provided within 24 hours of the reservation.

We will establish a volunteer-run Trap-Neuter-Release program to serve our community of neighbors both human and feline. Houston became a virtual ghost town and El Gato's business suffered greatly.
